Hi,
I'm Scott Cehowski. I was born and raised in the Albany,
New York area and have lived here all my life. I attended
Shaker High School in Latham, New York and graduated from
Siena College in Loudonville.
In 1975, I was diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy and
have been living with, battling, and beating this disease
since I was two years old. In the late 1980's I was one of
the founding members of Warriors on Wheels, a weight and
strength training program for individuals with spinal cord
and various other disabilities. While in college, I was
also instrumental in having the campus made more wheelchair
accessible by working with campus officials and having items
such as door openers, and elevators donated to the school to
enhance campus mobility.
I was introduced to The Law Offices
of Michael P. Delaney by a friend in the summer of
1997 after I suffered a serious personal injury. At
that time, I didn't know who or where to turn to. Michael P. Delaney treated me like family and
set my mind at ease from day one. I received the best legal
assistance available.
Over the years, we kept in touch and about a year ago I
received a call from Mike Delaney asking me if I would like
to be involved in their web page dedicated to helping
individuals with spinal cord injuries. It was an easy
decision for me. Now a year later, the law firm and
the web site are doing great. Including a
co-sponsorship by Michael P. Delaney of a picnic/awards banquet for Warriors on Wheels
in conjunction with the New York Giants training camp.
If you have any questions, send me an
e-mail.
Hope to hear from you soon.
